CRISTINA LIVADARY, CFP®, RLP®
When Cristina immigrated to the United States from the Philippines in the early 90’s, she was homeless and had no hope for financial stability. She quickly learned that hard work pays off. Cristina excelled at school and earned herself a water polo scholarship to Bucknell University. When a shoulder injury caused her to lose her scholarship, she was forced to take out over $100,000 in student loans. For over a decade after school, she worked with financial advisors at one of the top institutional wealth asset managers, Russell Investment Group, and managed to pay down her entire student loan balance and $30,000 in credit card debt. She knows intimately how challenging the system can be when you don’t have knowledge and a healthy strategy.
Cristina took a break from the world of investing in 2018 and completed her CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ designation. It’s now her mission to help a) others like her avoid the same mistakes that got her into such dire straits, and b) help those already in debt to get out. She and her business partner Stephanie Bucko have joined forces to help empower underserved individuals around their finances.
